behavior.
Anyhow, if we want to be practical, it is possible to use N() to convert
an empty cell/space/asterisk to zero.

opened language manager before updating my system, the default language
was Hebrew, but the list of languages included only English. After I
updated my system, the list included Hebrew, and I selected it, and now
everything is fine.

don't understand those ALSA midi ports. But if the default would be
128:0, then even complete MIDI ignorants like me would be able to do

Same here, but it also seems to happen when scrolling down now. Also,
switching to any other application seems to clean up the problem.

I have that problem too - The same black screen at start/install.
ATI Radeon 9800, LG L1932TQ (19" LCD) connected via DVI. It might be a
drivers issue.

Don't know if it helps or not, but I do not have this problem.
I'm using Kubuntu Gutsy Tribe 3 with the latest updates, and don't have this
problem.
I'm using the 64bit release.

I tried to create a disc with two tracks, both from the same mp3 file.
It failed before starting to write to disc.
When I copied the file and used the two copies, it worked fine.
I'm using serpentine 0.7-4ubuntu3.

On my /var/crash directory there is an old report about ypbind crashing.
Didn't even notice that happen :)

Hi,
I have just upgraded to linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.22-10-generic-2.6.22-10.24.
After that I have unloaded and reloaded my sound modules, and sound now works.
I haven't tried to reboot yet (though I don't see a reason why it should make
any difference).
