Ah, I'm very sorry, but I went and installed 6.10, so my system is no
longer the same. Though I take it by your second message you have made
some kind of progress, yes?

Crash during "Migrate Documents and Settings" prevents install
There is such an option, and a few others you can see by doing
sudo ubiquity --help
It seems however as if the option to disable migration doesn't work.
The attached file is the last part of what is outputted in the terminal

Hi. I'm having the exact same problem, but I was able to generate a
/var/log/installer/debug
Herd 5, AMD64 ISO, not alt. The drive I'm trying to install onto is
SATA, and Windows is on the same drive. I have however created proper
partitions for Linux.
