Had the same problem fixed it with:
"pactl list cards short" to get the device id
then I did "pactl set-card-profile x a2dp"
where X is your device id

I also had a problem installing software on eclipse. My problem was with
installing PyDev. I also had the same problem when trying to install Pydev on
aptana studio.
When I used update-java-alternatives everything worked.
I guess there IS a problem with OpenJDK in Lucid...

Hello,
Kernel module pcspkr is causing a complete system lockup consistently when the
pc speaker is used on a LG LS55 notebook.
removing pcspkr (rmmod pcspkr) or blacklisting the module completely
resolves the issue.
