The fix allows me to login but browsing the music catalog (whether browsing artists, song titles, or albums) reports "Not enough data." However, the MySQL database is updated. Clicking, e.g., Random Album populates the playlist with a random album, and searching for artists returns valid results.

The fix proposed by GĂ©rald ibn step 9 worked for me, too. I'm not sure there's actually invalid SQL in the postinst file as Lars suggests, because multiple MySQL queries can be added on the same line as long as they're separated by ';' as is the case in the script. -- You received this bug

No, it's an unencrypted connection. I almost suspected the firewall, but I'm able to add new entries to the LDAP address book via Evolution, and Evolution also recognizes the search base. It's only when I attempt to search the directory that nothing appears to happen. -- You received this bug
