For what its worth, the somewhere above mentioned fix with this xorg.conf setting when using EXA: Option MigrationHeuristic greedy seemed to solve my freezes on a Dell inspiron 1525 with this graphic: 00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller
