Hi. Last kernel/alsa-source update (2007-10-05 night) didn't solve the
problem for me. HDA soundcard is not detected with stock kernel/alsa
modules.

Recompiling alsa module (with module-assistant), having replaced alsa-

again, and boot process much quicker (see my comment on #149834).

Hi,
just to confirm that disabling networking in NM-applet before suspend,
and re-enabling it after resume does perfectly the job and completely
solves the problem for me (tested 3 times), wired or not. Still annoying
to have to do this, and other machines (thinking of my old IBM T40p)
worked

Trying to dist-upgrade this morning result in update-manager saying E:
Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused
by held packages ; please report a bug. I've tried to hunt
It seems to be corrected now, perl and all its binary packages just
installed flawlessly. Sorry for the false positive. Seems I don't
clearly understand how binary packages are handled by
archive.ubuntu.com...
** Changed in: perl (Ubuntu)

Here on a Dell Precision M4300, iwl4965 works after a suspend/resume cycle.
dmesg says nothing particular about the card, but network-manager says no
network adapter detected (it does not even detect the wired ethernet device,
but that's another bug, i will search/report elsewhere).
iwconfig
Just a thought: ould this be related to #45696 ?
