[Bug 1975778] Re: 22.04 raspi image needs larger boot partition

2022-05-25 Thread Pablo V
I have no idea which package sets the size of the vfat partition. I downloaded the image, wrote it to a usb3-connected dual drive (raid1) enclosure and plugged it into a pi 4. Booted and followed the instructions from there. I'm running mirrored 2 tb drives. If the installer offered me the option

2022-05-25 Thread Pablo V
Public bug reported: After installing updates to jammy 22.04 on my pi 4, i was getting warning messages about the vfat partition mounted on /boot/firmware being low on space. The updates included kernel updates. My workaround for now is rm /boot/firmware/*.bak Rather than muck around with

I just want to make this workaround clear. The commenters having problems should make sure apache2 is running with mpm-prefork worker before trying to install mpm-itk. The workaround for my servers may or may not solve the problem for you. It's just four lines at the at root command prompt.

Public bug reported: On Trusty(14.04) I wasn't able to install libapache2-mpm-itk until I manually changed the current apache2 configuration to use the mpm- prefork worker instead of the mpm-event worker it was using: This is what I got before making the fix: Setting up libapache2-mpm-itk

Thanks, Micah Gersten, for providing that information. My CompactHeader extensions got upgraded automatically yesterday or today. It's working fine now. I removed the Blinking Alert extension because this version of thunderbird provides a good alert feature. I still miss having the clickable

Right after I posted my previous comment I googled and found a solution for the folder view switching. There is an extension available that provides it now. It's called Folder Pane View Switcher and it works just fine. I provide a URL below but it's not needed if you use the thunderbird add-on

I will note that I am also experiencing some frustration after this update. It looks to me like this was much more than a bugfix. My add-ons (Blinking Alert, CompactHeader) don't work. There are some changes to the UI that I don't like. For example : Previously I just had to click an arrow icon to

I upgraded to natty and still had problems. I moved the hard drives to a new mainboard a 6-core phenom and 8gb ECC ram. That's been up for 29 days now. I've decided to try using the old Asus M3N78 Pro with USB disabled at bios level. It will be used only to run some virtual machines. I'll plug an

I'm also using the M3N78 Pro with an onboard GeForce 8300. I've had problems with it's USB support since day one (which was a debian 4 install). Every time I have a problem with a device I try it on another 64-bit system using a different mobo/chipset and also on an old 32-bit sempron system. I

I'm going to try the boot options suggested above. This bug is affecting me because I have a KVM switch connected to this recently-built maverick server system. It's one that switches USB keyboard and mouse. When I switch away from the maverick system and switch back, I've lost the usb keyboard
