[Bug 111502] Re: network-manager unreliable with multiple APs

2011-03-03 Thread Pascal Sachs
I have the problem as well on my netbook (Asus eeePC 1000H) running Ubuntu 10.10. My wireless card reports negative values for the signal level for bad APs and positiv values for the good AP. As the noise value is not reported (noise == 0) the quality of all signals is considered as maximal. At

I can confirm that too. As said before its a new bug in 8.10 because it worked fine before the upgrade. For me drag and drop works if I drag it to the body, also for doc, ods and so on, so I guess it works for all file types, but I can't confirm that for sure. -- drag and drop doesn't work to

[Bug 150373] Re: creating a 7zip gives error

2008-10-13 Thread Pascal Sachs
I get following error, while trying to create any .7z archive. but it's not a bug in the p7zip packet, because I can create working .7z archives with the command line tools. So I think the file-roller uses the tools somehow wrong, because of maybe api changes. 7-Zip (A) 4.57 Copyright (c)

I have the same Problem. It is new since yesterday, so the bug must have come somehow with the last few updates. I can connect to the Internet over the console if I kill the NetworkManager, so I guess the error has to be somewhere there. Please fix this as soon as possible, because this is a real

Hi I'm sorry, that I forgot to answer, that I found the Problem. I did compile and install a kernel by myself sometime ago and forgot about that. So after there was a security update of the 6.2.22 Kernel my own kernel came into the grub menu.list and therefore the whole boot process was confused.
