ec2 (ami-1bc5820c, us-east-1, m4.large) first and subsequent boots are

Here's what I'm seeing in my testing (approx 3-4 instances per daily

On instances I deploy with images that are from a daily xenial image
with a serial of 0223.1 or older, I'm seeing normal behavior after 1st
reboot - instance comes back up quickly, I'm able to ssh in and all is

Was getting MAAS setup on my system, just to play with it, and didn't
enter an email address. The tool didn't complain about leaving the
email address blank, but when the the tool exited the superuser wasn't
created and an error message was displayed.
