Encountered this bug today. Used the web site workaround to create my
Ubuntu One account.

I've been using Linux for many years, but this is my first Ubuntu system
(although I have used derivatives for many years now). Seeing that this
bug has existed for over 3 years for a feature that should be ranked as
critical to the new and existing user experience I'm now wondering if I
have made the wrong choice in picking Ubuntu.

Bug heat being too low to warrant fixing the issue is an excuse in this
particular case, since the bug itself prohibits people from generating
bug heat.

Fix this bug please. Thanks!
