The default value for MaxSessions is zero, meaning an unlimited number
of concurrent connections to the same disk - the only time this is
reasonable is with read-only media or via very specialized clustered
filesystem scenarios.

Binary package hint: acpi-support
The script in /etc/acpi/hibernate.sh tries to get the swap device using
the following line:

Didn't mean to cross-post (and upstream post too!), wasn't sure if
people paid attention to closed bugs. I've made a better fix in the
upstream bug for the intermediate problem of the name column size not
being very usable.

List View: Name column size not remembered
I've made a better patch to fix this issue more thoroughly. The problem
is that a lot of column space simply is unallocated (belongs to *no*
column) because the columns weren't being properly resized.
I've posted a patch at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=410361
to fix this as well as
Confirming this problem too; I tried both the newest BIOS as well as the
previous one; on the previous BIOS it halted while initializing PCI
resources . On the current one, it scrolls too fast for me to read.
With acpi=off, the kernel faults while trying to load sound, which
explains the no sound

in /usr/lib/hal/scripts/linux/hal-system-power-hibernate-linux, the
script has the wrong path coded for uswsusp ('/usr/sbin/s2disk') instead
of '/sbin/s2disk'); this causes it to never be called. What would be

By the way, this should be in either linux-image or initrd-tools, I'm
not sure which though

Public bug reported:
After suspending to disk, Feisty never finds the suspend image, it boots
the machine normally and detects swap partition corruption (because it
didn't pick up the suspend image). I dist-upgrade'd to Feisty from Edgy
(which I was using through Edgy development).
However, I've
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gaim
Hi, I coded the NetworkManager support in Gaim 2.0 Beta 4, but Ubuntu
doesn't build it with support enabled. I just wanted to clarify
something that might be the reason why it's disabled.
Even though it's part of NetworkManager, libnm-glib does
Public bug reported:
NoMachine has recently released a free (as in beer) version of their
remote desktop software that is suitable for desktop users. As this is
currently (imo) the best solution for remote desktop at the time, as
well as being adopted by KDE as their preferred remote desktop
