Just got the beta version of Feisty. The problem has not appeared in the beta -
I've been able to boot without any of the '/dev/sda12 does not exist' messages.
So far, so good

Reinstalled to a lower partition (sda12). Symptoms are identical - gets
to load of Uniform CD-ROM driver, stops. Eventually errors out and says
/dev/sda12 does not exits.

OS/2 (2 copies), Zenwalk 4.2, Zenwalk 4.4.1. Set up to share swap(sda11)
