I have recently updated to a new mobo while using old hardrives.
One drive has Windows XP/Ubuntu 9.10 on it and are clean installs
2nd drive has been updated to Ubuntu 9.10 and is main O.S.
The login screens do not match.

Stability part of problems resolved for the most part by adjusting
timing setting to auto in BIOS.
This is important to anyone with stability issues concerning PulseAudio
and Firefox Flash issues.

Crashing has repeatedly occurred under 2.6.28-18
booting under grub on Linux 2.6.28-17-generic
Trying to load/reload packages lost in update
This one wouldn't load.
Synaptic says is there, but when reloading
get this error mesage

Sorry, I am not running Karmic and will not until minimum of 3 months go
by. All updates have not been flawless and it always requires love
and attention.
If my OS version situation changes I will e-mail you with test result
saying so.

Sorry, but I had to install a new disk and with it Jaunty fresh.
Fixed the problem and even though I had the old templates, I could not
reproduce the error again.
