No sound on boot 50% of the time. Sound/Volume applet fails to respond
to attempt to increase volume.
Running sudo /sbin/alsa force-reload fixes the problem although not
always first time.

when the open button is clicked in k9copy, with a good dvd in the
drive, it crashes immediately, every time I do it.
To manage notificat
(see output below), and ran it under gdb (see output
below).
The gdb crashed with no stack.

I have the same bug on my Lucid install on i386 arch Dell Inspiron 640m.
I found that if you first select the 'me menu' and then move the cursor
just to the right of it you will select the session menu. At least this
way you can log out/shutdown.
