available in the Properties for that printer:

ATT Option 3G card not recognized. It thinks it is a ZCOPTION card. This is
the Kubuntu Jaunty Beta AMD64 Live CD
This was fixed before: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316120
Also there is no rezero command. This device has to be zeroed in
I discovered this was due to a misconfigured sources.list. Once
configured properly, the problem went away. Sorry for the false alarm!

That indeed fixed the problem. I updated to the latest hal-info,
replaced 10-modem.fdi, and my 3G card is now recognized, with the added
benefit that I see it only once in the network-manager list. Thank

Original Intrepid AMD64 hal-info finds my ATT Option 3G card. When I
upgrade hal-info, it is no longer known. I have option driver
blacklisted and rezero package installed.

I installed a fresh copy of Kubuntu 8.10 AMD64 (it will also happen on
Ubuntu 8.10; I tried). Note that no network was available, so no
updates were retrieved. My Option Globetrotter Ultra Wireless Broadband
card worked almost out of the box. I had to blacklist the Option
I also am having major problems after upgrades. OpenVPN is broken and
ATT wireless card no longer shows up in NM pop up. All was working
fine before upgrade :-(

I'm running the Ubuntu 8.10 RC CD for i386. I have an ATT Option GT
Ultra Express that I have working in Hardy, using the hso drivers from
Pharscape.
I started with the wireless card inserted upon boot. After booting the

poster. In the (gutsy) domU,

I can confirm that /lib/udev/set_hwclock is problematic. My gutsy domU
took forever to boot, and when it did, top showed hwclock hogging the
CPU. I removed execute permissions on /lib/udev/set_hwclock and now it
boots quite snappily.
