I have notebook Lenovo T420s connected to external monitor in no
mirror mode. If i run empathy, i can see that green notification
bubble icon only on my notebook LCD and not on external display.
another icons (skype, dropbox ...) are displayed correctly on both
screens.

still the same and vpn is not shown as disconnected.
