Hold on this is still not fixed. The wifi works in Intreprid now, but
not the finger scanner or built in camera. I have the latest kernal and
everything is updated daily.

I agree with Nathan, I believed Ubuntu/linux was all about user control and
not been like MS and taking that control away from us. Gutsy was good in
allowing this tinkering to happen, and I am a bit worried that it is now gone
in Hardy. I have also seen this in other areas also.

I am not too sure to know what wifi driver I am using, I had a feeling you
would ask this. I don't know how to find that. Anyway my computer is up to
date as I do this every evening.
