I still can't connect without --no-xmlpost, and I can't seem to find a
way to make networkmanager to pass that argument to openconnect. one
would think since this is linux, there should be a config file for that,
but there isn't.

the fact that such a bug is still unassigned bothers me to no end. I've
switched to vlc for now, since totem is completely unusable for me.

Public bug reported:
I get short freezes in screen when I turn dpm on. the nature of the
freeze is that only the display freezes, and sound and mouse and
keyboard movements are actually being done. I also tested fglrx, and
though less often, the freezes still happen there too. when I use the
as a workaround, I made vlc the main video player for now. but I prefer
to have totem.

totem freezes after changing/disabling subtitle
apparently it has been there forever, and apparently nobody wants or cares to
fix it. this is a redhat report from 2007:

totem freezes after changing/disabling subtitle on mp4 files.
To manage notifications
this issue has been fixed by recent updates. I guess it got fixed by the
updates to the xserver packages but I'm not really sure.

Title:
totem
Public bug reported:
this bug is reproducible every time. I just need to open an mp4 video
file with a subtitle file in the same folder. then the subtitle shows
and the video plays ok. then if I try to disable the subtitle, totem
freezes, and I have to close it by force.
ProblemType: Bug
I can confirm this bug. The fix in post #5 solves it for me but
disables QT Accessibility.
