I am also experiencing this with Karmic. I find that I have to enter my passphrase multiple times. Sometimes it doesn't work at all, and I have to Ctrl/Alt/Del, reboot, and then try again. Eventually the system gets my passphrase, but this is clearly a mission critical problem. I haven't seen
