Correction (in case it is relevant): I hadn't actually installed MySQL
server yet, which explains why there was no one answering.

I ran into the same problem. Installing myspell-en-au manually and
restarting OOo fixes it.
My theory is that this is due to the fact that myspell-en-au is not
officially supported. Disappointing, though.

Greg: I installed evince and it nearly works. The pages are printed in
landscape, although slightly cropped left and right.
