The kernel in #46 appears to solve the blank-screen-with-cursor problem
for me under lid-suspend and `xset dpms force off` (Thinkapd X200 tablet
- Intel GM45).
Will try with external monitor when I get home. Backport please!

I'm also calling shenanigans on this one... I spent a good hour
debugging error messages like "abort: HTTP Error 406: Not Acceptable"
before stumbling on this bug. NOT OBVIOUS.

Pound 2.2.7 is *broken*. See the previous comments changelog.
This is simply a version bump to the version 2.3.2, the current *stable*
upstream release.

Same problem here on Edgy x86, with 1.7.0-1ubuntu4 . gnumeric fails to
open XLS files, but gnumeric-gtk works just fine.
Dunno if either of the following are relevant but FYI:
1. I'm a Kubuntu user.
2. Installing gnumeric-gtk pulled in pxlib1, while plain gnumeric did

A kernel built with the patch from

I should further mention that I'm positive this is not hardware related.
This card worked fine on this (edgy) laptop under Gentoo with a somewhat
older kernel yesterday, other usb devices work ok (mice, stick, hard
