Thanks for that!
There were 2 problems...
One - My brain fade thanks - should have typed ubuntu-bug
Two - The location /usr/bin/VirtualBox worked (but without /usr/bin/ it failed)
On One there is no easy fix!
on Two maybe if the app's path can be found when launcing apport...since

Public bug reported:
Hello
When starting any VM, Locked on ‘Starting virtual machine’
I get two! (not one) Start VM dialogs
On one, progress to 0
Other (labelled Starting virtual machine 2/2) Progress goes to 20%
but both freeze.
Virtual Box Manager also freezes, so I either need to log out, or
Public bug reported:
I type
Alt-F2 ubuntu-bugs VirtualBox
apport says Application not installed !
But when I just type

Since upgarding from 12.04 to 14.04 to 16.04 LTS VirtualBox locks up on
the machine completely,
Thanks Gunnar !
I will certainly try this with any issues I find in future; I have never

Hi
Public bug reported:
refer page https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuDesktopLVM
Section: Load LVM modules on startup
contains a list of commands, all of which fail at the bash prompt:-
echo dm-mod gt;gt; /etc/modules
...
Above returns error:
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `;'
I seem to have found the problem myself.
It was a result of the posting which converted the two greater than symbols to
their html equivalents
Please edit the page to greater than symbols so not-so-clever people
(like myself) can do properly.
Thanks !!
