I think that it's been happening to me for a while, as I have had problems in
gnome for several weeks. I assumed it was flash or some such,
I've tried the package on 10.10. The segfault has gone and it all
appears to be working.
Many thanks. This was causing me a disproportionate amount of headache,
as I find tapping to make a laptop largely unusable due to my wandering
thumbs.

I am getting what appears to me to be a highly related bug. I get
scrambled, overlapping fonts. In my case, this is not related to
scrolling specifically, but occurs even while typing.
As a temporary work-around, I am forcing Emacs to redraw after every
command (code below!). Emacs is now usable,
I'm also getting this. For me, it's completely repeatable and associated
with synergy.
I am using interpid as a synergy client. The keyboard repeat works fine
using the interpid machines attached keyboard. Bring the pointer from
the synergy server onto the screen, however, and the keyboard repeat
