I was experiencing the same problem (frequent crashes while editing in
Eclipse), and removing xulrunner as described in comment #4 above seems
to have helped in my case.

a. when I ran the u1sdtool -q command on my laptop I got
ubuntuone-syncdaemon still running.
Ignoring this, I went ahead and removed syncdaemon.conf
After this I restarted Ubuntu One (Applications-->Internet-->Ubuntu One)
and things worked as if I was just installing Ubuntu One for the first
tim
this. I haven't had
access to my laptop for a few weeks but have it back now, at least part
time.l

I get the same behavior if I go to Edit-->Preferences-->Main and select
"Show my windows and tabs from last time" for the "When Firefox starts:"
option. (I.e. when I set that option and then exit and restart Firefox,
I still get my pre-defined home page rather than the tabs that were open
at the ti

When I exit, Firefox asks "Do you want Firefox to save your tabs...?". I
choose "Save and Quit," but when I restart Firefox I get my default
tabs, not the set that was open when I quit.
