For what it's worth, I can verify that the bug is associated with the
Intel integrated graphics controller (Intel Corporation

My Google calendar is linked via CalDav. "Make available for offline
use" is selected in the calendar properties. If I click on the "Work
Offline" button in the bottom right corner of the Evolution window, a
read-only version of the Google calendar will persist until I close

I've also been hit by this bug on a new Karmic install. Had no problems
with Jaunty on the same hardware.
Tried csulok's work-around from post #32, which didn't work. Disabling
IPV6 in Firefox does work (but only for Firefox, of course). Changing
my IPV4 settings to use Open DNS works universal
