Hi @paulgear, I didn't see it listed in the launchpad bug at all, but
what version of ubuntu are you using, and which kernel?
I wanted to check if the jammy (22.04) 6.8 based kernel (jammy:linux-
aws-6.8) or the noble (24.04) 6.8 based kernel (noblel:inux-aws) solve
this problem for you?

@meireli,
Sorry for the amount of info. I tried to be concise, but perhaps I was
too concise.
The 6.5 based kernels for mantic (23.01) and jammy (22.04) are at the
end of their support. The 1024 jammy 6.5 kernel contains only security
updates.
This is the changelog of the 22.04 6.5 kernel:
Thanks @meireli for opening this.
The Ubuntu-aws-6.5-6.5.0-1024 version of the mantic (23.10) 6.5 based
kernel is a strange one. It was the kernel generated for the
s2024.06.10 SRU cycle. This was a security cycle, so only security
related patches were added to this kernel.
This is where

The 6.5 and 6.8 based jammy kernels have received this patch as well.
The 6.2 based jammy kernel is no longer supported so it will not be
receiving these patches.

the newer series kernels. So, for noble (24.04) for

Two patches are actually needed for this fix. From the 6.8.y stable

some more testing and send these out for review.

I have had to disable the ADXL345 accelerator driver in the jammy:linux-
intel-iotg kernel.
The code is broken, and needs a bit of work to correct.
It was also broken in the 5.13 build, so it is not a regression. I know
that it appeared to be enabled in the 5.13 config. but because of the

In the linux-intel-iotg-5.15 kernel, we have the MEI support.
Also, the commit d162219c655c8cf8003128a13840d6c1e183fb80 is in the

Is there anything remaining to be done on this ticket? If not, I'd like to
