the bug is due to a php5.6 version incompatible with the php7.4 used in the
latest phpmyadmin.
Have to keep php5.6. It would therefore be a good thing that php dependant
installations check php version, alerts on it but also proposes previous
version of whatever has to be
Same problem on Acer Swift5 also having Realtek ALC255 and ubuntu 18.04.
