In my case, it could be because "Ubuntu Software" is really "snap-store"
and for some reason, it can't install it from that directory. Could be
that the problem is on snap-store and not in Firefox?

advanced view and then Shift+Ctrl+V to change again to simply view.

darthomir, can you use the msconfig utility of windows to disable
programs and services of windows selectively and saw what is causing the
problem.
You can start disabling all, if run well, enable the half of
programs/services, if fail, disable half of programs, else disable the
other half, etc.
First I don't have sufficient experience and I haven't investigated this
problem, but this is what other says and what I think.
The problem isn't grub2, the problem is HP backup (or PC Angel), it write their

Okay, after many restarts, I've discovered what caused the corruption.
The program that corrupt the grub (in my case) is PC Angel a recover
software, more exactly their windows service.
You can disable it by going into Start / Control panel / Administrative
tools / Services, search for a service
I think that the problem is that sourceforge have change the url to the
files, and we need to the new ones.

I'm also confirm that in Jaunty with 0.12.0 Rhythmbox and alsa (creative
x-fi fatalyt1 pro), and that if you enable crossfading it is fixed.
