[Bug 400047] Re: Installer's Install them side by side option is vague and confusing

2009-08-14 Thread Phylum
Thankyou for sharing concern and interest in this bug. Yes, I'd agree with Share the disk with existing installations, choosing between them when I start my computer rather than Install them side by side, choosing them each start up that would make a lot more sense and would be a lot more

[Bug 204567] Re: downloads should go to $HOME/Downloads : XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR should be set to $HOME/Downloads

2009-07-15 Thread Phylum
This is very useful and should have been thought up years before today! It's already default on Fedora a year or so before. Leaving lots of stuff on the desktop is messy. -- downloads should go to $HOME/Downloads : XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR should be set to $HOME/Downloads

[Bug 11334] Re: Copy-Paste doesn't work if the source is closed before the paste

2009-07-15 Thread Phylum
I know, this sucks. Normally on Windows platform source could be copied every though it's already closed. So when I'm on Linux, I have to be extra aware and extra careful by leaving the window of the copied source opened before pasting. -- Copy-Paste doesn't work if the source is closed before
