Hi butthead, just install synfig as well as synfig studio, and run synfig from the command line. The render an animation run synfig -o .. Eg - synfig test.sif -o test.mpg and it'll use the appropriate renderer. I'm also keen for this to be fixed. Isn't great for doing demos :) -- Synfigstudio

[Bug 116318] movie player wont respond when movies are loaded
