Got the same problem today. I provided what I think is a better
backtrace (because I installed more debug symbols). I use Google
Calendars so I was able to verify that I had no All day event as
someone suspected earlier.

Turns out it could be calendar related after all: my clock applet
freezes gnome-panel when I click on the datetime. The attached
backtrace's Thread 1 seems interesting.

I just confirmed with Robert Bradford, this has been changed in upstream
librest: they now call the file rest-0.6.pc has they want parallel
installable versions of librest.
