I also get this bug . With a fresh install install of 12.04 on on nvidia
geforce 7100 / nforce 630i , gnome 3 and unity simply don't work. The
only UI working correctly is Gnome Classic with no effect.

I confirm this problem on kubuntu 10.04.
After editing a few iamges (jpeg, not raw) digikam uses more than 400 mo and
get's extremely slow.
Closing and restarting digikam solves the problem, but only for a few minutes.

I can confirm this, I've got the same problem on Kubuntu 9.10 when running
tomboy.
Strange thing is, tomboy looks perfectly fine when run from the command line or
from Alt+F2 (KRunner) but looks ugly when started from kde menu.

I've found a solution to my problem : it was ACPI-related.
Some ACPI options where disabled in the BIOS (due to problems with previous
versions of ubuntu), I enabled them and the second core is now recognized.
Now, I'm wondering how ACPI options can interfere with SMP capabilties

I confirm this bug too. I never had a crash with Digikam until I started
to use the geolocation feature. Now it crashes every 5 minutes.

That feature is something I also miss a lot.
But should this choice be made globally for tomboy or should it be possible to
choose à a specific language for each note (in that case this language would be
