It is impossible to use the search function in OpenOffice file dialog.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch OpenOffice Writer
2. Select eg. File->Open
3. Click "Search" on top of left pane of file dialog
4. search for any doc file
5. try opening it -> crash
Happens on Hardy Heron
Is it a duplicate (of which bug?) or is it already known upstream?

Hmmm, I agree with Khashayar Naderehvandi. Lack of tracker integration
in Hardy is basically a regression for me!!! So - is there any way of
restoring previous (as per Gutsy) functionality?

Still present in Hardy Alpha 2 :( See screenshot - global subpixel is on
(as seen in e.g. Gnome top panel menu), in OOo only grayscale hinting is
used (and - but this is another issue - default document font looks
terrble) :(

bottom panel *and* occurs only from time to time, depending on the

Rather not - lucio writes that he is using radeon module (this is open source
ATI driver) and not fglrx.
BTW - I am running Thinkpad T42 with Radeon Mobility 7500 and it *mostly*
hibernates OK. Not always - managed to lock it up once or twice. Also,
sometimes when the system wakes up from hibern

I have the same problem - but connecting to WPA Personal (using
atheros). NM asks for a password after every reboot. It seems also that
the keyring configuration is somehow broken. In keyring manager an entry
related to nm-applet seem to unnamed (see attached screenshot). BTW -

I am using Mobility Radeon 7500 (in built card in Thinkpad T42), open
source driver. So far 2 freezes on Gutsy. Definitely happens not
frequently, so this might be a very difficult thing to track...

Confirming the same happening on Thinkpad T42 (ATI Radeon 7500). Desktop
locks up, usually with just mouse cursor moving (and some visual
artifacts on top of the screen). I noticed however, that usually it is
possible to put the keyboard in raw mode (Alt-SysRq-R) and then switch
to a text console (
