I've just installed 4.8-rc4 from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.8-rc4/
It seems to be working almost perfectly.
There _may_ be some small glitches but much less frequent, and maybe of
a different character.

Because of problems with graphics on v4.5-rc1 (maybe because I'm using
intel-linux-graphics-installer, or maybe it's the i915 drivers issues)

On v4.4 the bug seem to be fixed (complains about i915 firmware)
On v4.3.4 the bug is still there (does not complain about the f
I've installed kernel 4.5rc1 and the problem vanished.
When I was installing the kernel it complained that it may not be able
to install i915 firmware (I'm not sure if it succeeded).

Looks like a regression after recent kernel upgrade.
After starting up the system ubuntu fails to recognize the wireless keyboard
and mouse for about 2 minutes.
Afterwards it works correctly.
The integrated keyboard+mouse model is Logitech k400r
