Desktop>Gnome>Peripherals>Keyboard>Indicator>showFlags
The flag icon is same height as the panel, widht is proportional height.
It looks bad.

Do you have hal packages installed from feisty-backports?
I had the same issue but after replacing hal packages with those from the main
repo everything's fine again.
