I've just removed the patch and the vpn connection is still working . Even setting up a new user and new vpn connection is fine, so am unable to do any more tests. I'll upgrade my PC to jaunty tomorrow to see if it has the same issue as my laptop had so I can do some more debugging. -- NetworkMa
