said, disabling as much as possible in kdebugdialog takes care of most
of it. Does changing the defaults in the packaging to disable debug
output make any sense? If so, can you reopen this?

This happens for me on a Dell D420. Changing the acpi lid.sh, as noted

The only client activity seems to be a network adapter change. The
wired ethernet was unplugged and the client switched to wireless. There
were no suspicious log entries on the client.

I've done some digging and it appears my HDD is very close to some that
are blacklisted for NCQ in drivers/ata/libata-core.c.

I seem to be having similar problems using Feisty on a Compaq Evo N410C.
On starting after suspend, the screen seems to be fine except the
resolution has changed. The resolution difference appears as the console
output being in a much smaller block in the center of the console. I
can see console

Update: direct IMAP seems to be working. Cached IMAP is still failing.
Rebuilding the indexes and cache do nothing. Also, deleting the account
and recreating it within kmail does nothing either.
