However the package is not installed in a default Hardy installation.

I just tested the bug in Hardy. Opened a video with totem on full-screen
mode on the second screen and the issue appears to be solved. I had no
problems stopping and playing the video over and over again. Also I let
it run until the end and it behaved as it should.

Chose the German keyboard layout during install. When I entered the
username and password the keyboard setting must have been in english. My
password had a y in it and I ended up with having to type a z
