(i reported this bug a few minutes ago and realised i didn't give all
the information but couldnt find my original report, sorry)
I am using Ubuntu Jaunty and Ekiga 3.2.0 crashes when I try to make a
call or recieve a call.

Here is what happened with me:
Adjusting default-fragments and default-fragment-size-msec in
/etc/pulse/daemon.conf did not work so afterwards I set them back to the
original 8 and 10 respectively.
My in /etc/pulse/default.pa already had load-module module-hal-detect
tsched=0
So I uncommented
It really was the Gnome main menu.
I have since reformatted my hard drive and done a new installation of
hardy heron. I think Intrepid and I cannot get on. So am no longer
having this problem.

please see my problem here too. I resolved mine by re-installing and
redoing my home partition (getting rid of my settings).

I couldn't take Intrepid any longer! Too many things going wrong! I went
back to hardy heron. I have a home partition so when I installed it, my
faulty menus came with it! The Applications menu was still just the same
few pixels in the top corner! I repartioned and re-installed again and
now it is

Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu
the Applications menu got emptied (apart from a little cluster of a few
pixels in the top corner). I rebooted and then it just happened. The
Places and System menus work fine.

I disabled compiz and switched to metacity from the terminal, still the
same problem. I will remove the setting directory and use it for a
