@papukaija: it seems you're over optimistic about the status of this bug. Actually the only thing working right now in Maverick is syncing notes with Tomboy... there is no way to connect to Ubuntu One with the preferences applet if you're behind a proxy. It's just totally unusable. It's quite sad
