It's a desktop system. I had removed my /etc/network/interfaces because my
knetworkmanager was stuck in manual mode. Guess what, knetworkmanager hadn't
created a loopback device. When I recreated /etc/network/interfaces, I had
loopback again and the mysql problems where gone. But now
