In order to continue using Thoggen, upon updating to Saucy, I installed
the old package and it's hal dependency. Then, I began having this issue
as well. Rather than remove it as a fix, I simply commented out the
offending line in /lib/udev/rules.d/90-hal.rules

For me, when I re-opened lxappearance my new cursors appeared in the
list, but could not be used. When I try deleting them it crashes again.

Can't set keyboard
I've been trying to solve this problem for a while, and I finally got it
to work.
Opened ~/.tilp
Changed the line auto_detect=0 to auto_detect=1 in the [OPTIONS] section.
Ran tilp at the cmd line, with my calculator pluged in and turned on.

My Visual Effects appearance preference is set to None, and I
routinely use my scroll wheel to switch desktops using the Workspace
Switcher panel object. After upgrading to 10.04, every time I try to
switch desktops with the panel object, it doesn't work until I right
click
I've attached the entire log directories for both my computers.
Skallagrim is my desktop from which I was trying to transfer the files.
Calgacus is my laptop.
