Public bug reported:
Kernel 2.6.17-10-generic, updated last night to be sure it was still
present.
Sometimes, on resume from suspend, the ipw2200 driver outputs unusual
messages to dmesg, uses 100% CPU time, and doesn't associate to
anything. Unloading and reloading the driver fixes this.

The ipw2200 driver sometimes hardlocks my machine on high-bandwidth
connections.
/var/log/messages reports nothing useful:

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
Seemingly arbitrarily, network manager will, instead of detecting my
ipw2200 as being a wireless card, decide that it is instead a wired
network card, and therefore fail to detect wireless APs or any similar
behavior.

Incidentally, having filed the dupe Martin mentioned above, I'm fairly
certain I know what my problem was - every mirror I just checked only
has the -ubuntu13 package of hal, which could have something to do with
the odd fact that, even though packages.ubuntu.com, on a search for hal,

Can we please get an NMU in Debian?
Actually, hm. I suspect debian-forensics is responsible for this, I'll
ask them.

Hm, that bug's author seems strangely familiar... :)
Can we get this into mainline for all affected kernels (Intrepid+, I
suppose...)?

Wow, I'm far too tired to be reading bugs right now - I originally filed
that bug on k.o against 2.6.27-series, so Intrepid should be included
too.

Sorry, I'm slightly sleepy, just Jaunty (Karmic's vanilla series already
has the patch, conveniently).

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: python-wxgtk2.8
I think the title is self-summarizing.
python-wxgtk2.8's postinst script hardcodes python2.6, but doesn't mark this as
a Depends, and so the script can fail with the following:
/var/lib/dpkg/info/python-wxgtk2.8.postinst: 9: python2.6: n
Apparently the postinst doesn't actually hardcode python2.6, so I'm
confused as to why the script bailed out.
I didn't have python2.6 installed, and installing it fixed this...
