I have a USB mouse connected, not a PS/2. The problem reported above is
about PS/2 keyboard not working, not mouse. Did you want the data for
the mouse detection?

Upgraded to 12.04 from 10.04, using USB thumbdrive. Tried re-installing
twice, same result. My PS/2 keyboard doesn't get detected. It works well
with 10.04.
Btw, My system has two drives and ubuntu is installed on the second
drive, in multi boot mode.
Running the self test, will post the results
