It didn't worked for me neither. It's also cutting the lower of the
presentation as you can see in the attached screenshot.

It's may be late, as a fix has just been released, but full screen works
fine in Writer (pressing F11), this issue appears to only happens in
Impress. If the issue persist, maybe you can check Writer's code.
