Anybody have a look at the syslogs yet? Is someone even looking? I was
thinking of using Ubuntu on all developer machines in our office. Looks
like that's out.

I am facing the exact same problem on a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04
desktop.
The DNS resolution was fixed by adding an OpenDNS server to the
nameserver list. It resolves the domain names quickly, but then download
just hangs in between.
I've tried downloading using 'wget' and the issue remains t
