Howdy,
My i815 based system could not start X because of this error. I found a
simple solution for now. Edit the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and add a line that
says:
Option "NoAccel""true"
in the Device section. There are some references on a RedHat board about this
making X
I can confirm all of the problems mentioned here.

This shows you too have a 16bpp X display. So it's definitely a Firefox
regression with Ubuntu's move from Firefox 2 to Firefox 3 for displaying
JPEGs on a 16bpp X display. You should find that using Firefox 2

I have a very similar problem on x86_64, gnome-keyring 2.25.92-0ubuntu1.
Sometimes when I log in gnome-keyring-daemon is hung using 100% cpu.
Sometimes it works for a while, then hangs when asked for a key by an
ssh invocation. I've only had the problem since upgrading to jaunty last
week.

I'm aware of that. I thought the hang in poll() would be useful
information even if you didn't have a symbol table for the package.
Is there a package with debug information I can install? Otherwise I'll
try to build a version myself and see if it happens again.

@Jerone
Thanks for the suggestion, but that leaves no agent running at all. I
don't mind killing the thing, but I need a key agent which can be shared
between multiple terminal windows, such as used to be provided by starting the
session within ssh-agent.

Oops, ssh-agent is running, and the workaround does work for me. Sorry
about that.

I've acpi-support 0.109-0hardy2. There's one remaining issue that I'll
point out in case others come searching. One of my drives has a -B of
64 by default. This is from `hdparm -I' having gone from power-up to
single-user mode.
In the past, I'd altered /etc/hdparm.conf to have `spindown_time =

I don't know. Due to bug #222458 I manually process /etc/hdparm.conf
a second time after booting has finished.
awk '$1 ~ /^
Note, the hard drive in /etc/hdparm.conf can be specified by one of its
several names, possibly a different name from that which acpi-support is
using, e.g. /dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST320423A_3EJ0GMSY versus /dev/sdb.
