Xorg segfaults randomly.
I bet it is some other libraries fault, but I am not sure how to
diagnose this.
The system is up to date and the memories were exhaustly checked
(memtest over many hours).

2nd head does not start automatically

During boot, the 2nd head is shown as a clone of the console.
This is what is expected.
When xorg kicks in the 2nd head is turned off.
after my session starts [kx]randr can be used to shown the 2nd head just fine,
but it is a manual process.

It does work if the file is created inside libreoffice itself.

When using update-manager to upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04 upgrade fails.
Looking in the logs the problem seems to be some bad packagin from openoffice
upgrade to libreoffice.

That's right.
For some reason, it works when it feels like.
The fact that work, when altering usb_modeswitch is a large coincidence.
After testing in 3 different machines, it is not usb_modeswitch.
Also, it will always works with wvdial or another pppd dialer. And they
depend on usb_modeswitch.
I can confirm that the problem is not with usb_modeswitch, but with
networkmanager (or family).
