The problem is only with skype, online video and system sounds.Online radio
ok,music playback ok and home video sound ok.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 from a live cd included with APC magazine here in
Australia in April being a newbie I am not sure which package to check.

I have been using Firefox addon Skipper by uninstalling it fixes the
problem I will reinstall and see how it goes
