Christian, you can enable DOWNLOAD_PROTO_HTTPS in the traditional BIOS image built from iPXE, and disable it in the UEFI driver built from iPXE. You can still combine both drivers into a combined option ROM. For SeaBIOS guests, there's not going to be any change. For UEFI guests, see my comment#7
